UPDATE: Crews will continue their work removing dead trees along the Greenway Trail today, Friday, February 4. A section of the trail from the Willow Bridge to Montvale Road Bridge will remain closed. UPDATE: The tree removal along the Greenway Trail planned for Wednesday has been rescheduled for Thursday, February 3. If weather permits, crews will close the trails mentioned below on Thursday rather than Wednesday. Engineering and Public Works will have the Greenway Trail between Montvale Road and the Tennis Courts on South Cedar St. closed all day on Tuesday and Wednesday, February 1 and 2, 2022. This closure includes the entrance to the trail at Willow Drive. Additionally, the new trail behind Southern Grace Coffee Shop leading to Jack Greene Park Pavilion will be closed as well. Crews will be working to remove several dead trees in the parks. Trail users will need to plan for an alternate route for Tuesday and Wednesday.
