CITY OF MARYVILLE PLANS IMPROVEMENTS ALONG EAST BROADWAY AVE. AT EAST LINCOLN RD.& WILDWOOD RD. Changes are being planned for a section of East Broadway Ave. (SR33) between East Lincoln Road and Wildwood Road. Currently, drivers who use this road routinely experience congestion and delays during the peak driving times in the morning and afternoon. NOTICE TO THE TAXPAYERS OF THE CITY OF MARYVILLE: Be advised that after February 1, 2010, additional penalties and costs will be imposed in consequence of suits to be filed for enforcement of the lien for unpaid 2008 taxes against real estate located in Maryville. Until filing of such suits, 2008 taxes may be paid at the Municipal Center, 400 West Broadway Avenue.
WITH RECORD COLD, YOU CAN ASSIST THOSE IN NEED BY PARTICIPATING IN OUR "SHARE THE WARMTH" PROGRAM. There are hundreds of families who will suffer from the cold this winter because they are not able to heat their homes. Many of them are elderly or handicapped; and some have children who will share their suffering. SHARE THE WARMTH is designed to help with this problem. Customers of Maryville Utilities can contribute funds to assist our less fortunate neighbors and Blount County Health and Human Services determines those who need assistance.
